SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Group growing by 2% - 2013 Results:
SAME DEUTZ-FAHR ends its financial year with a turnover of € 1,211.9 million, growing by 2% over last year, thanks to the positive contribution of non-European markets and the introduction of new products in the high power segment in Europe. The net profit is rising considerably, having reached € 60.6 million (+21%). Investments grow by 39.5% at € 67.3 million, mainly due to the internationalisation process, and a renewed product range gaining wider appeal across all markets. As far as debt, the net financial position is positive at € 24.3 million, improving by € 37.7 million. The exact number of personnel in service as of 31.12.2013 is 2,946 employees, increasing by 104 people compared to the previous year. Investments in innovation, safety on the job, internationalisation and product quality are an integral part of our management and constitute the building blocks of our strategic development".

The inauguration of the new site of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Turkey took place in Bandirma, Turkey. The renewal of the existing plant consolidates the presence of the company in the Turkish market and Middle-East area. This follows the recent acquisition of 100% Turkish activities by SAME DEUTZ-FAHR and represents a key step of establishing a long-term presence of the company in this important market.

The Bandirma plant joins the other production sites of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, serving not only the region, but also European and overseas markets. The new structure was illustrated to the distribution network together with the company strategy in Turkey by Giampaolo Cameli, SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Turkey CEO, company Chairman Vittorio Carozza and Lodovico Bussolati, SAME DEUTZ-FAHR CEO.
